    Performance Assessment:

    Compose a poem (at least 12 lines) or a scene from a short story (at least one printed page/250 words). Think about your subject and the way you feel about it. Let that be a guide for your choice of images. Include at least five images in your writing. Be sure to include a metaphor and a simile. Also, attach another sheet to your writing that identifies the tone as well as the images you chose to create it. Make sure that the metaphor and simile are clearly identified.
